Colored Pencil Handplane

Philippine mahogany makes up the majority of this handplane, but the eye-catcher is the center stringer made from colored pencils. On both sides are stringers made from reclaimed redwood floorboards from the historic Schwan Mansion in Santa Cruz. Glassed with 4oz cloth and epoxy resin. The hand strap is made with nylon covered with off-cuts from Hotline Wetsuit production, and the wood is shaped with our unique, ergonomic hand fit. The hardware is solid brass. You only need a single handplane on your leading arm for a great ride every time! This is a terrific conversation piece and bodysurfs like a dream.
